The competition sets a new cultural equipment  in the base of the largest Spanish Islamic fortress, and the recuperation of a network of historic caves, today abandoned, like a complement for revitalizing  a marginal area in Almería, while sets a  renovation  of the communication infrastructures between districts . To set  a singular construction in this location implies taking a position immediately. The visual established, over its history between canvases, ramparts and the slopes of mountain, and the strength of the dialogues established, invited us to follow a process of mimesis, in which only some cracks that open into the ground reveals the ownership of the project to the same side.

The build, embeds in the mountain resolving outside program requirements, by terraces, and affording light to inside through mentioned cracks. It becomes also in a transit space: Its communal spaces facilitate communication with various terraces that just formalize the slope, turning it into a gained place in the city.
