F.A.D. PRIZES 2001: Finalist
This building contains an important public allocation for a populous and consolidated housing estate of Pamplona. For some contradictory reason, it is located in an urban trace in “L” form, with very strict use conditions, that is the back of a block of houses in height immersed in a future pedestrian area awaiting development.
  
The project reflects on the formal proposal that has to be offer so the result has public dimension and own significance in an environment of these characteristics and helps, at the same time, to the recovery of the urban context of the area. Trying to avoid the confrontation of scales with the neighbourhood, the building is hermetic and abstract in its formal configuration and also in the use of materials that build it.
