COMPETITION’S PROYECT: Finalist
The building we propose is in its basic lines an educational institution, but we cannot forget the consideration that it is also a spatial building, because of what its contents and task represent, and this peculiarity should be confirmed in an image of public building contemporary and suited to the institution that represents. The large program that we must arrange leads us to compact the building in its edges except the one that looks to the big roundabout of the Tolosa Avenue, where the building breaks and recesses as regards the maximum alignment and even modifies its constructive solution, offering a transparency to its inner that the rest of the perimeter, being occupied by classrooms, doesn’t allow.
  
The public area that gets free here is caved in as regards the pavement level, causing a comfortable direct access to the auditorium’s hall in basement 1 independent from the main access of the building, situated in the low floor. That dense is made up for its inner, where a large area free and covered practises as relations centre, museum and real representative heart.
