Our proposal, wants to appear on the sand, as naturally as shells appears when tide water withdraws, and its inside takes in the necessary spaces so freely. The use of a soft geometry seems a good instrument for pursue the desired image for this site.

The cultural equipment we propose, is presented as a continuous space, where different uses alternate between very recognizable forms and its interstitial spaces. The latter are also the key to communications.

The building was constructed as a slightly higher plane above the dunes, so seems to hovers over them. The plane becomes ascending and revolving around the main room. Its tries to establish a connection ramp for two main floors of the building as more representative space, and with dimensions that allows its use for temporary exhibitions. This device gives to inside a comfortable, pleasant and functional spatial continuity and to outer envelope which is a continuous ascendant geometry, that connects both levels and responds with its “soft” geometry and organic look, to the original objective of the project.
